Our story:

We are a family-owned company from the jungle, based in Cusco Link Here, founded in the year 2000. We are a Tour Operator specialized in jungle tours and expeditions throughout the Peruvian Amazon. Our expeditions take you close to the Restricted Biological Research Zone of Manu National Park, offering a full adventure that includes trekking, tree climbing, camping, birdwatching, and deep rainforest exploration. Our guides, born and raised in the jungle, have an exceptional understanding of its plants, animals, and culture, ensuring an authentic and educational experience.

As a tour operator working within the Manu National Park, we strongly believe in environmental responsibility. Our goal is to keep the rainforest and Peru clean, sustainable, and beautiful for future generations. During our expeditions, we minimize our environmental impact by collecting all waste and taking it back to Cusco for proper disposal. We use recyclable and reusable products and power our lodges with solar energy. We also organize clean-up activities along the Pilcopata road and the Alto Madre de Dios River, both during high and low seasons. Our dedicated team loves and respects nature and works tirelessly to preserve it for everyone to enjoy.

Our second mission is to provide you with a genuine jungle experience, something truly different from other trips to Manu – authentic and close to nature. To achieve this, we camp in tents and hammocks, allowing you to sleep surrounded by the sounds and spirit of the rainforest.

We also operate our own eco-lodges:

-Rainforest Lodge, located in the Cloud Forest.

-Bonanza Ecological Reserve, featuring comfortable bungalows (single, double, and triple), a dining area, kitchen, bathrooms, showers, walking trails, and a unique natural attraction – the Mammal Clay Lick (Collpa).

-In the Reserved Zone, we offer accommodation at the Jaguar Eco Lodge.

Each lodge provides a comfortable and inspiring stay close to nature. Our team consists of four brothers and one sister, all bilingual professional guides, together with a group of experienced local professionals including chefs, boat drivers, and assistants. Every member shares our deep commitment to safety, environmental care, and quality service.

Our third mission is to support the indigenous communities of the Amazon. We work hand in hand with them on sustainable projects that aim to improve education, health, and living conditions for both children and adults.Bonanza Tours Peru is led by the Huamani family, originally from the jungle. We started as boat drivers, cooks, and tour guides, and after years of effort, we created this company to give back to our communities.

Thanks to the support of our travelers, we have carried out numerous social projects, including:

-Providing school and hygiene supplies.

-Building and donating complete libraries.

-Bringing teachers and doctors to remote communities.

-Offering health and life insurance to our staff.

Our journeys:

Our expeditions combine private ground transportation across the Sacred Valley and the Andes Mountains, descending into cloud forests and tropical lowlands. We then continue by motorized boat along the Alto Madre de Dios, Manu, and Madre de Dios Rivers, exploring private lands and pristine rainforest within the Bonanza Ecological Reserve, the Cultural Zone, and the Reserved Zone of Manu National Park. Our tours are flexible and customizable, designed to match your interests and physical condition. We offer expeditions ranging from 4 to 12 days – or longer upon request. Safety is our top priority.
